This opinion article is a first approach to the debate on the Trans Law in the Spanish State, immediately after its approval. The reflection comes from fieldwork I conducted at the Complutense University of Madrid, during which I interviewed legal experts and activists involved in one way or another in the process of debate and construction of the law. In the article, I also engage in a conversation with an artificial intelligence about Barbin, about the official version of their death, and the possibilities that are excluded, unthinkable due to the violence of gender binarism.
